Canadian Center for Architecture, Fall 2016 - Winter 2017
Montreal, Quebec, Canada

As part of the exhibition It’s All Happening So Fast, an interactive workshop is offered to university groups in order to explore the complex and contradictory relationships that Canada maintains with the environment. By taking a stand and speaking on behalf of entities motivated by a multiplicity of interests—ecosystems, architecture, ethics, economic systems, local populations—students test their powers of discursive action by tackling the different themes of the exhibition. Environmental crises, both historical and contemporary, are synthesized through a series of graphic and conceptual tools, and debated during a public forum. The polyphonic perspectives that emerge from this discussion bring to light issues of utmost urgency when the environment is at play. Photography rights belong to the Centre Canadien d'Architecture.
